Thorough preparation for both the candidates and the rite itself is essential because of the many options available. Because the Rite of Confirmation is a celebration of the entire parish, responsibility for planning the Mass lies with the pastor, working with the Confirmation catechetical team and the parish Mass/Music Director. |
