The new second collection schedule for 2012 has been approved and is ready for parishes to submit to their envelope vendors. There are a few changes to note in this schedule from past years. Due to the importance of the World Mission Sunday collection for the Propagation of the Faith, that will now be an individual collection held in October each year. The Combined Mission Collection has been moved to January, and the International / National Combined Collection has been moved to May. The second collection schedule now consists of seven collections: two Combined Collections--The Combined Mission Collection and the International / National Combined Collection and five individual collections--Seminary and Priests' Continuing Education, Priests' Retirement and Benefits, World Mission Sunday, Catholic Campaign for Human Development, and Religious Retirement.
