A New $75,000 Challenge Gift

We have Good News to share! Feeling blessed by God and inspired by our dedicated seminarians and newly ordained priests, a member of our diocesan family has just offered the Friend to Seminarians program a $75,000 gift to continue the process of encouraging and "challenging" our leadership donors to both increase giving and expand the number of families participating in the Friend to Seminarians program.

In order for the Friend to Seminarians program to receive the gift, we must meet one of these “challenges”:

  • Any increase over last year’s gift will be matched dollar for dollar.
  • Any donor who did not make a gift last year will have this year’s entire gift matched dollar for dollar.

The first year of this four-year challenge grant was met, exceeding the $75,000 challenge. Thirty-four donors gave new or increased gifts totaling $86,000. Thank you for helping us meet this "challenge". Please consider a new or increased gift to the Friend to Seminarians program this fiscal year, beginning July 2011.
